Today, I reviewed/unboxed my March Birchbox! Wooh!

Clicky Here if you would prefer to watch my review vs read it on here. (It's okay if you do, watching tends to be more fun)

This was the first time I uploaded one of my videos to YouTube, so make sure to like and subscribe to my channel! I would super appreciate it! :)

Also, make sure to read to the bottom, that's where I list the link that will give you half off your first box ;)

Anyways... on to information pertaining to Birchbox!

This is their steps listed on their website (It's pretty simple and most subscriptions follow these guidelines):

Here are the plans that Birchbox offers:

It's quite amusing that they don't even give you that great of deal for buying ahead of time. I supposed getting a free month with the 6 month subscription is good.. but, not FAAANTASTIC.

ON TO THE MARCH BOXXXX:

SO, this is the box that I received for March. I want to start off by saying this box is actually super cute. It's very "spring"-esk and adorable - totally reusable.

Birchbox tends to send you super cute boxes that you can use in your home or on display. Here are the boxes that I have received from Birchbox so far:

March is by far my favorite design out of the three boxes that I have received. ALRIGHT. Let's start off by reviewing what I received in the March box and work my way backwards, deal? Deal.

MARCH

These are the products that I had received in my March box (of course, in sample size).

Retails at: $48.00

Feel Free to skip the reading on this product if you really don't give a f***.. just

read the last paragraph to see my "worth it" review. I put **** before the

review, JUST in case you're too lazy to seek the words "worth it" out.

"The idea of a peel might sound intimidating (especially if your skin gets easily

irritated), but it’s an effective way to restore your complexion’s natural glow. This

customer-favorite formula is acid-free, so it gently exfoliates and evens out tone and

texture—all in just three minutes—without aggravating sensitive skin types. The

unique gel uses pH-neutral proteins that bind to dead skin cells to form actual solids

you can see. Rinse away to reveal a fresh complexion that’s softer, brighter, and

more radiant."

How To Use

Once a week, apply a thin layer of product to clean, dry skin on face, neck, and

chest. Then massage in a gentle, circular motion to exfoliate. Wash with a mild

cleanser to completely remove the peel. Test product on the back of your hand or

neck before use.

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Polyoxyethylene Glyceryl Ether, Alkyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride

Carbomer, Diazolidinyl Ureaiodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Peg-40, Disodium EDTA,

Hyaluronic Acid

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, No. It's totally worth having the sample size, but the hefty price tag of $48 for this full-sized product is more than my pockets would be willing to let me spend. However, if you happen to have a disposable income, then sure, spend that $$$. (Or donate to this poor blogger.. ;) )

Retail Price: $25.00

"Formerly amika Un.Done Texture Spray. Same formula you love with a new name and

look! When we try for tousled, voluminous hair, we tend to look more tornado-tossed

than windblown—or, just as bad, our strands stay stubbornly limp and flat. This

styling spray from amika gives us loads of sexily messy, artfully effortless volume. And

its so easy to use, we get just the right done-yet-undone look—without overdoing it—

every time. This spray uses zeolite, a naturally occurring mineral, to build up volume.

A mix of obliphica extract (sea buckthorn berry), which helps strengthen hair and

boost shine, and an exclusive polymer blend help the formula bind to hair and add

texture without making strands stiff, crunchy, or heavy."

How To Use

Shake can and spray formula wherever hair could use a volume and texture boost,

then style as desired.

Ingredients

Hydrofluorocarbon 152A, Butane, SD Alcohol 40-B, Disiloxane, VP/VA Copolymer,

Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch,Zeolite, Glycerin, Triethyl Citrate, PEG/PPG-18/18

Dimethicone, Fragrance, Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract, Water

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, maaaaybe. It's basically a $25 dry shampoo. Dry shampoo is already

stupid expensive for an aerosol can that holds practically nothing. SO, I do recommend

this for the fact that it doesn't seem to leave a white residue when using it. However, it

smells like cheap toilet spray.

"This balm is a favorite among celebrity makeup artists and dermatologists because

the 100% natural formula completely rehydrates depleted skin and lips. Bonus: You

can also use it to soothe sunburn, tame brows, and nourish thirsty skin anywhere on

your body. It’s tasteless, odorless, and effortlessly powerful."

How To Use

Apply to dry lips and other areas of the skin as needed.

Ingredients

100% Natural Medical Grade Lanolin

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, no. It's literally an expensive version of "petroleum jelly" - "vaseline".

Honest waste of money. It literally has no smell and honestly, overrated. I apologize to

the brand, but this is definitely not worth your $$$.

"A major upgrade from your childhood detangler, this luxurious formula not only

smooths your knots and tangles, but it also acts as a frizz tamer, shine enhancer, and

heat protectant. The jelly consistency sprays on like a mist so it won't weigh down

your locks, and with the help of an amino acid blend, hydrolyzed proteins, panthenol,

and vitamin E, it'll be the only styling product you need to apply in the morning. Plus,

with an amazing scent featuring notes of Italian lemon, amber, blackberry, and violet,

you'll be able to skip spritzing your perfume too."

How To Use

Mist lightly through damp hair prior to heat styling.

Ingredients

Aqua (Water, Eau), Cyclopentasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol,

Panthenol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Threonine,

Proline, Isoleucine, Phenylalanine, Histidine, Sodium PCA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium

Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Polysilicone-29, Butylene Glycol, Quaternium-91,

Cetrimonium Chloride, Silicone, Quaternium-16, Undeceth-11, Butyloctanol,

Cetearamidoethyldiethonium Succinoyl Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Myristyl Myristate,

Behentrimonium Chloride, Guar Hydroxy-Propyltrimonium Chloride, Undeceth-5,

Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Alpha-Isomethyl

Ionone, Limonene, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Citronellol, Cinnamyl Alcohol,

Parfum (Fragrance)

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, yes and no. I am biased because I already have a favorite leave in conditioner. To me, this one is too thick when it comes out and it isn't as misty as my favorite brand. Think semen. That's exactly the texture that is sprayed on. I have yet to try it on wet / damp hair - it would probably be great and less semen like then! However, I rarely wash my hair - because I wear extensions.... and I prefer a product that works well with dry hair as well as wet.

"Offering shine, a dash of shimmer, and a delicious scent, there's a reason why they

call this gloss Glazed Lips Donut. Beyond its lacquer-like finish that never feels sticky,

it also provides semisheer pigment and hydration with a coconut- and jojoba-rich

formula. Just a swipe is all you need for a flattering hint of color that accentuates the

natural look of your pout. It can even be worn as a top coat over your lipstick to add

some sheen, instantly transforming the shade."

How To Use

Apply directly to lips. Can be worn alone or over an existing lipstick shade.

Ingredients

Tridecyl Trimellitate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Octyldodecanol, Diisostearyl Malate,

Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Silica

Dimethyl Silylate, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil,

CI 15850 (Red 6 Lake), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77742 (Manganese Violet)

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, depends. I feel like you can buy a product almost identical as this one,

for a cheaper price. I received the coffee glaze "flavour" and it smelled more like

butterscotch to me. I am not a huge fan of glosses... but, if you are, then maybe you

should check out this product. I would describe it as a matte gloss. It's not super

glossy, yet not matte.

FEBRUARY

These are the products that I had received in my February box (of course, in sample size).

"This next-generation CC cream takes corrective coverage to a whole new level.

Lightweight and easy to blend, the fragrance-free formula acts as both a primer and a

foundation. It smooths fine lines and uneven skin, plus it provides SPF protection

against UVA, UVB, and infrared-A rays. Light-diffusing mica minerals soften the

appearance of pores and wrinkles for a fresh, flawless complexion. What's more, this

all-in-one velvety cream comes in a range of self-adjusting shades to suit a variety of

skin tones."

How To Use

Apply to clean, dry skin and blend well into face and neck using fingertips. Layer on for

extra coverage where needed.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide (2%), Zinc Oxide (20%)

Inactive Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Propanediol, Dimethicone, Iron

Oxides, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol,

Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Sodium Chloride, Mica, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15

Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Tetrasodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed

Chondrus Crispus Extract, Methylisothiazolinone, Tin Oxide, Sodium Hyaluronate

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, yes. I absolutely adore this CC cream. It's not too heavy and has just

enough coverage for my skin. I actually am going to purchase a full-sized bottle of this.

If you need heavy coverage, I would recommend an actual foundation, and not just a

CC cream.

"This creamy mascara not only creates lashes that look great from all angles—the

wand works from all angles, too. Thanks to the innovative triple-ball applicator brush,

you can easily lengthen, define, and separate each and every lash. You’ll get curler-

free lift, extra thickness, and deep black color, all courtesy of the unique ubame oak

charcoal and sapphire dust formula."

How To Use

Sweep brush through lashes from root to tip. Use the tip of the brush to separate fine

lashes and add extra thickness.

Aqua/Water, Paraffin, Acacia Senegal Gum, Synthetic Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate,

Stearic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Palmitic Acid, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax, Polybutene,

Acid/Glycerin Crosspolymer, Dextran, Acetyl Hexapeptide-1. May Contain: Black 2, Iron

Oxides, Ultramarines.

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, no. This does an okay job, but comes at a hefty pricetag for such

mediocre service. I prefer my "Better than sex" to this mascara. I would compare this

mascara to $5 drugstore mascara.

"This multibenefit spray is enriched with not one, not two, but three all-star oils—

argan, rosehip and coconut—to restore hair’s strength, softness and shine. Free of

parabens, silicones, and synthetic dyes, this formula hydrates each strand while

enhancing hair’s resilience. And just to prove it’s really worthy of being our hair care

MVP, it also defends against damage from UV rays and heat styling."

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, ONE MILLION TIMES - YEEEESSS. This is hands down my favorite leave in spray conditioner. So much that I have actually purchased a full-sized bottle of this. It doesn't leave a nasty residue in my hair, and smells amazing. I highly recommend this product.

"Constantly being followed around by a lighting crew to mimic the perfect strobe

effect isn't ideal—a girl can dream, though, right? This skincare-meets-makeup cream

helps tired and dull skin look more luminous and achieve that coveted glow—no

heavy equipment required. In fact, the vitamin-, green tea-, and botanical-enriched

formula is so lightweight that it blends like a dream to give skin a subtle lit-from-

within radiance. The Silverite shade gives lighter skin tones a silver sheen while

Pinklite reflects a pink sheen on light to medium-dark skin tones. When worn under

makeup, it creates a base for all the products layered on afterward. On days when

you're feeling a little bit more low-maintenance, it can double as your moisturizer or

you can layer over your favorite one for a soft luminescence."

How To Use

Apply to skin with fingertips or a brush and blend.

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, if you have the money to spend. It works very well, it's just pretty high

up in price - more than I'm willing to spend on a highlight.

"Just as Avène has tapped into the Sainte-Odile spring, they’ve also tapped into a

wealth of knowledge about hydration. They were able to pack a high concentration of

thermal spring water into this powerful, paraben-free serum, providing long-lasting

(24 hours long, that is) hydration thanks to a time-released hydrophilic matrix, which

soothes dehydrated and sensitive skin. The ultralightweight, noncomedogenic

formula actually feels like a refreshing splash of water on your complexion and it

enhances the effectiveness of any moisturizer or treatment product you choose to

apply next. (French) kiss irritation, tightness, and dry flakes goodbye."

How To Use

Apply to clean skin every morning and night. Follow with your favorite moisturizer.

Ingredients

Avene Thermale Spring Water (Avene Aqua), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isocetyl

Myristate, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Water (Aqua)

***** Is it "Worth it"?:

In my opinion, no. I am not a fan of the smell or texture of this. It's also a pricey

product and you can buy a cheaper product that is better quality.

this paste, formulated with Hawaiian volcanic ash (yes, you read that right) to keep

take advantage of all the shades available. These individual colors are part of

DOUCCE's customizable magnetic shadow palette system, where you can choose the
