Hi guys!
I recently was directed to #influenster by one of my best friends when I saw her post a photo of a Voxbox that she had received. I had just started out The Fae Files and was super interested in getting my hands on my own voxbox.
I am a very untrusting person when it comes to "free" items on the internet. There is always a catch - which in this case, it's as simple as reviewing the products! Which, HELLO, that's what I am already doing- FOR FREE ! I might as well get some free products out of it!
This is the first #voxbox that I have received - a month or so into filling out information about myself and connecting my social media accounts. I have read that some have waited over a year to receive any boxes...
Do NOT let this discourage you. The reason why some do not receive boxes so fast is because their social media impact score is - low. You need to have a high number of followers to receive the most out of this experience. So make sure you really strive for followers on instagram - at the very least.

Pictured above is what I had received in my #NewBeautyAtTarget #VoxBox . I am happy to say that I was thrilled that I received the razor! I was expecting only sample size products - so, this was a trip.
These are my thoughts on the products:
Gillette Venus Razor:
Extra Smooth is right, ladies and gents! It left my legs feeling amazing. Which was perfect timing - my legs were starting to get forest-like. I feel like they purposely included this in the box because it's starting to warm up outside and us hairy folk need to shave their legs for shorts weather ;).
I also appreciate that this razor is not brightly colored. It has a subtle presence in my shower and isn't blasting with neon pink colors - which would totally clash with my bathroom style ;) - not that you guys really care.
Overall: Worth it
Pantene Foam Conditioner:
Yeah, that's right - FOAM CONDITIONER. Why is this now a thing? I am not a HUUUUUGE fan.. but, not going to be a hater. I prefer the silky texture of , well, normal conditioner. However, this conditioner does seem to get the job done.
Overall: Semi Worth it... I'd say buy some if you are into foam products.
Crest Gum Detoxify Toothpaste:
I have not used this enough to be able to 100% tell you that this product helps detox your gums! However, I feel like it is promising from the little experience that I do have with the product. It definitely left my mouth feeling fresh - similar to a mouthwash experience. HOWEVER, the downside of this product: it's going to cost you more than your average toothpaste. So if you're a penny pincher like myself, you probably are not wanting to shell out $7 for this toothpaste. Let me say this... YOU HAVE ONE BODY... is the extra few dollars worth it? Most likely. It definitely costs less than a dentist visit.
Overall: Worth it. Spend the extra dinero on this toothpaste.
Olay Whip Moisturizer:
I am on the fence with this product due to the lack of .. well, product. I received a few sample sizes in my #voxbox and I am unable to relay exactly how beneficial this product is. I will say that this product did NOT make me break out (like most Olay products do) AND it did not leave my skin feeling oily or sticky --- PLUSSSSS!!!
Overall: Semi worth it. It's a hefty price tag - like most moisturizers. I recommend this if you're someone that likes to stick to one product and not venture around others (as I do).
